…for someone with the artistic eye and the technical ability to be able to pull off realism with computers. I think this is a great example of where things could go. Specifically look at the “Teasers” section. This is unlike any CGI work you’ve ever seen before:
This points to the fact that today’s artists are getting a better grasp of what the technology can do and the technology is becoming easier and more manageable for the artists to use as regular tools. This is less a study in engineering than it is a study in having a good aesthetic sense of reality.
